A tiny plan for your day

Estimated time: 5 min to find a stick · 12 min to make · 3 min to tidy. It's fine to stop early.

Before you start

What you’ll need

  • A short, smooth stick, checked by an adult
  • Pipe cleaners or wool
  • Washable pens
  • Leaves or grass for hair or clothes

Let's begin

Five simple steps

That's the whole activity. Tick each step off as you go, and stop whenever you like.

  1. Choose a stick. Is it a tall person? A wiggly person?

  2. Grown-up job

An adult wraps a pipe cleaner around the middle to make arms.

  3. Little one leads

Your child draws a face with pens.

  4. Tuck in leaves or grass for hair, a hat or a cloak.

  5. Give them a name and take them on an adventure.

All done!

That's every step. However it went, you made a little moment together.
