A tiny plan for your day

Estimated time: 5 min to make · 13 min to play · 2 min to tidy. It's fine to stop early.

Before you start

What you’ll need

  • A short stick
  • A length of string, about an arm long
  • A clothes peg, and big leaves as "fish"

Let's begin

Five simple steps

That's the whole activity. Tick each step off as you go, and stop whenever you like.

  1. Grown-up job

An adult ties the string to the end of the stick.

  2. Clip the peg to the other end of the string.

  3. Scatter leaf fish in a puddle, a tray of water or on the grass.

  4. Dangle the line and try to catch a fish with the peg.

  5. Count your catch, then throw them back!

All done!

That's every step. However it went, you made a little moment together.
