A tiny plan for your day

Estimated time: 5 min to prepare · 15 min to make · 5 min to tidy. It's fine to stop early.

Before you start

What you’ll need

  • Wing shapes cut from a cereal box by an adult
  • Two loops of soft elastic or ribbon for arm straps
  • Fallen leaves and petals
  • PVA glue or double-sided tape

Let's begin

Five simple steps

That's the whole activity. Tick each step off as you go, and stop whenever you like.

  1. Go on a little hunt for colourful leaves and petals.

  2. Little one leads

Your child sticks them all over the wings.

  3. Grown-up job

An adult attaches arm loops to the back.

  4. Leave to dry.

  5. Pop them on and flutter round the garden. What kind of creature are you?

All done!

That's every step. However it went, you made a little moment together.
