A tiny plan for your day

Estimated time: 3 min to choose · 5 min to press · 2 min to tidy. Then wait a week. Plus waiting time: a week. It's fine to stop early.

Before you start

What you’ll need

  • Flat, dry leaves and petals
  • Two sheets of kitchen roll or plain paper
  • A big heavy book, plus a few more books on top

Let's begin

Five simple steps

That's the whole activity. Tick each step off as you go, and stop whenever you like.

  1. Choose your favourite leaves and petals.

  2. Lay them flat on one sheet of paper, not touching.

  3. Pop the second sheet on top.

  4. Close them inside a heavy book and stack more books on top.

  5. Wait a week, then open it slowly. What happened?

All done!

That's every step. However it went, you made a little moment together.
