Before you start
What you’ll need
- Dry seed heads from your garden, like poppies, sunflowers or marigolds
- Paper envelopes
- A pen
Let's begin
Five simple steps
That's the whole activity. Tick each step off as you go, and stop whenever you like.
Find a dry, rattly seed head.
Hold it upside down over an envelope.
Shake! Listen to the seeds pour out.
Close the envelope and draw the flower on the front.
Keep somewhere cool and dry until spring.
That's every step. However it went, you made a little moment together.
