A tiny plan for your day

Estimated time: 5 min to prepare · 12 min to explore · 3 min to tidy. It's fine to stop early.

Before you start

What you’ll need

  • 2 cups of garden soil, stones picked out
  • 2 cups of plain flour
  • A splash of vegetable oil
  • A little water, a big bowl and a tray

Let's begin

Four simple steps

That's the whole activity. Tick each step off as you go, and stop whenever you like.

  1. Little one leads

Your child tips the soil and flour into the bowl.

  2. Add a splash of oil and a little water.

  3. Together

Squish it all together with hands until it feels like dough.

  4. Roll, poke, pat and shape. Add twigs, leaves and pebbles.

All done!

That's every step. However it went, you made a little moment together.
