A tiny plan for your day

Estimated time: 3 min to choose · 15 min to draw · 2 min to tidy. It's fine to stop early.

Before you start

What you’ll need

  • Paper on a clipboard or book
  • Pencils or crayons
  • Something to draw: a leaf, a flower, a pine cone, a tree

Let's begin

Five simple steps

That's the whole activity. Tick each step off as you go, and stop whenever you like.

  1. Choose one thing to draw.

  2. Look at it really closely first. What shapes can you see?

  3. Draw the outline, then add the details.

  4. Add colours. Are they the same as the real thing?

  5. Write the date and pop it in a little nature folder.

All done!

That's every step. However it went, you made a little moment together.
