A tiny plan for your day

Estimated time: 3 min to draw · 15 min to fill · 2 min to tidy. It's fine to stop early.

Before you start

What you’ll need

  • Chalk and a path or patio, or a beach
  • Leaves, sticks, petals, pine cones and stones

Let's begin

Five simple steps

That's the whole activity. Tick each step off as you go, and stop whenever you like.

  1. Little one leads

Your child lies down on the path.

  2. Draw around them with chalk.

  3. Fill the outline: leafy hair, stick fingers, pebble eyes, a petal smile.

  4. Stand back and look. Does it look like them?

  5. Take a photo before the wind blows it away.

All done!

That's every step. However it went, you made a little moment together.
