A tiny plan for your day

Estimated time: 5 min to prepare · 12 min to make · 3 min to tidy. It's fine to stop early.

Before you start

What you’ll need

  • A paper plate with the middle cut out by an adult
  • Small sprigs of evergreen, like fir or pine
  • Pine cones, dried orange slices or fallen leaves
  • PVA glue, or double-sided tape

Let's begin

Five simple steps

That's the whole activity. Tick each step off as you go, and stop whenever you like.

  1. Together

    Smell the evergreen together. Christmassy?

  2. Little one leads

Your child glues or sticks sprigs all around the ring.

  3. Add pine cones and other finds on top.

  4. Leave it to dry.

  5. Add a ribbon loop and hang it on a door.

All done!

That's every step. However it went, you made a little moment together.
