Wildflower seed balls
Little balls of future flowers. Roll muddy seed balls, then throw them where you'd like flowers to grow.

A tiny plan for your day
Estimated time: 5 min to prepare · 12 min to roll · 3 min to tidy. Leave a day or two to dry. It's fine to stop early.
Before you start
What you’ll need
- 10 small scoops of soil or compost to 1 scoop of flour
- A little water
- A packet of native wildflower seeds, tipped onto a tray
Let's begin
Five simple steps
That's the whole activity. Tick each step off as you go, and stop whenever you like.
- Little one leads
Your child mixes the soil and flour in a bowl.
Add water bit by bit until it's sticky like dough.
Roll into balls about the size of a ping-pong ball.
Roll each ball in the seeds.
Leave to dry, then throw them onto a bare patch of your garden.
That's every step. However it went, you made a little moment together.
