A tiny plan for your day

Estimated time: 5 min to gather · 12 min to make · 3 min to tidy. It's fine to stop early.

Before you start

What you’ll need

  • Six or so short, straight twigs or lolly sticks
  • PVA glue or tape
  • An acorn cup or small pebble for a door knob

Let's begin

Five simple steps

That's the whole activity. Tick each step off as you go, and stop whenever you like.

  1. Line up the twigs side by side.

  2. Together

Glue or tape two twigs across them to hold the door together.

  3. Add an acorn cup or pebble door knob.

  4. Leave it to dry, then prop it against a tree root or garden wall.

  5. Together

Imagine together. Who lives inside? What do they eat?

All done!

That's every step. However it went, you made a little moment together.
