A tiny plan for your day

Estimated time: 6 min to prepare · 11 min to explore · 3 min to tidy. It's fine to stop early.

Before you start

What you’ll need

  • Large, clean, identified safe leaves
  • Clear self-adhesive contact paper prepared by an adult
  • Large card frame prepared by an adult

Let's begin

Three simple steps

That's the whole activity. Tick each step off as you go, and stop whenever you like.

  1. Grown-up job

An adult cuts and fixes the adhesive paper to a wide cardboard frame.

  2. Little one leads

Invite your child to arrange large leaves on the sticky surface, then seal with another sheet.

  3. Hold it near a securely closed window and notice the colours and shadows.

All done!

That's every step. However it went, you made a little moment together.
