A tiny plan for your day

Estimated time: 3 min to prepare · 10 min to explore · 2 min to tidy. It's fine to stop early.

Before you start

What you’ll need

  • Large, clean fallen leaves
  • Paper
  • Chunky crayons
  • Child-safe glue stick (optional)

Let's begin

Three simple steps

That's the whole activity. Tick each step off as you go, and stop whenever you like.

  1. Gather a few suitable leaves and clear a small space to create.

  2. Little one leads

Invite your child to choose, arrange and move the leaves around. There is no right finished picture.

  3. Draw or add marks around the leaves. Ask what they notice, without directing their creation.

All done!

That's every step. However it went, you made a little moment together.
