Leaf pile leap
Rake, pile, jump! The simplest autumn joy there is.
*Illustrative age guidance. Your child's development and circumstances matter more than a number.

A tiny plan for your day
Estimated time: 5 min to rake · 8 min to leap · 2 min to tidy. It's fine to stop early.
Before you start
What you’ll need
- Lots of dry, fallen leaves
- A rake or your hands
Let's begin
Five simple steps
That's the whole activity. Tick each step off as you go, and stop whenever you like.
Rake or scoop the leaves into a big pile.
- Grown-up job
An adult checks inside the pile first.
Run and jump in, or fall backwards in!
Throw armfuls up in the air and let them rain down.
Pile them back up and go again.
All done!
That's every step. However it went, you made a little moment together.
