Creep and crunch
Can you sneak up without a crunch? A giggly game of creeping across crispy leaves.
*Illustrative age guidance. Your child's development and circumstances matter more than a number.

A tiny plan for your day
Estimated time: 3 min to set up · 11 min to play · 1 min to tidy. It's fine to stop early.
Before you start
What you’ll need
- A pile of dry, crunchy leaves
- At least two players
Let's begin
Five simple steps
That's the whole activity. Tick each step off as you go, and stop whenever you like.
One person sits in the middle of the leaves with eyes closed. They're the listener.
- Together
Everyone else starts at the edge.
Creep in as quietly as you can.
If the listener hears a crunch, they point. You go back to the start!
Whoever touches the listener's shoulder swaps places.
That's every step. However it went, you made a little moment together.
