A tiny plan for your day

Estimated time: 3 min to prepare · 10 min to explore · 2 min to tidy. It's fine to stop early.

Before you start

What you’ll need

  • Big, soft, freshly fallen leaves
  • Cookie cutters
  • A chopping board
  • A rolling pin

Let's begin

Four simple steps

That's the whole activity. Tick each step off as you go, and stop whenever you like.

  1. Lay a leaf flat on the board and pop a cutter on top.

  2. Little one leads

Your child presses down hard, or rolls the rolling pin over the cutter.

  3. Peel away the leaf around the edge to reveal your shape.

  4. Stick the shapes onto paper or a window with a little tape.

All done!

That's every step. However it went, you made a little moment together.
