A tiny plan for your day

Estimated time: 5 min to decorate · 13 min to roll · 2 min to tidy. It's fine to stop early.

Before you start

What you’ll need

  • Hard-boiled eggs, cooled, one each
  • Felt pens to decorate
  • A gentle grassy slope

Let's begin

Five simple steps

That's the whole activity. Tick each step off as you go, and stop whenever you like.

  1. Decorate your egg with faces, stripes or spots.

  2. Line up at the top of the slope.

  3. Ready, steady, roll!

  4. Whose egg goes furthest? Whose stays in one piece?

  5. Peel and eat the winning egg, if it's still clean.

All done!

That's every step. However it went, you made a little moment together.
