A tiny plan for your day
Estimated time: 4 min to make · 10 min to play · 1 min to tidy. It's fine to stop early.
Before you start
What you’ll need
- A conker, or a small ball
- An old sock
- A strip of ribbon or fabric, about an arm long
Let's begin
Five simple steps
That's the whole activity. Tick each step off as you go, and stop whenever you like.
Pop the conker into the toe of the sock.
- Grown-up job
An adult ties a knot above it and ties on the ribbon tail.
Hold the end of the tail, swing gently, and let go upwards.
Watch the comet fly with its tail streaming behind.
Run and fetch it!
That's every step. However it went, you made a little moment together.
