A tiny plan for your day
Estimated time: 5 min to choose · 13 min to walk · 2 min to put it somewhere special. It's fine to stop early.
Before you start
What you’ll need
- A walk through woods or a park
- Wool or tape to decorate, optional
Let's begin
Five simple steps
That's the whole activity. Tick each step off as you go, and stop whenever you like.
Look for a fallen stick about as tall as your child's shoulder.
- Together
Check it together: is it strong? Smooth? No sharp bits?
Decorate the top with a little wool or tape.
Use it on your walk. Tap the ground, test a puddle, point at birds.
Keep it by the door for next time.
That's every step. However it went, you made a little moment together.
