A tiny plan for your day

Estimated time: 2 min to find leaves · 7 min to wish · 1 min to head off. It's fine to stop early.

Before you start

What you’ll need

  • Big, dry fallen leaves
  • A chalk pen or crayon, optional
  • A breezy day

Let's begin

Five simple steps

That's the whole activity. Tick each step off as you go, and stop whenever you like.

  1. Choose a special leaf each.

  2. Whisper a wish into it, or draw a little picture of your wish.

  3. Hold it up high.

  4. Count to three and let it go. Where did the wind take it?

  5. Watch the other leaves falling too. Are they wishes from the trees?

All done!

That's every step. However it went, you made a little moment together.
