A tiny plan for your day

Estimated time: 2 min to prepare · 12 min to explore · 1 min to tidy. It's fine to stop early.

Before you start

What you’ll need

  • A small unbreakable mirror, like a plastic or acrylic one
  • A path under trees, free of roots and low branches

Let's begin

Five simple steps

That's the whole activity. Tick each step off as you go, and stop whenever you like.

  1. Hold the mirror flat just under your nose, shiny side up.

  2. Look down into it. You'll see the sky and trees!

  3. Walk very slowly, holding your grown-up's hand.

  4. Pretend you're a squirrel or bird walking along the branches.

  5. Stop and look up for real. What did you see?

All done!

That's every step. However it went, you made a little moment together.
