A tiny plan for your day

Estimated time: 3 min to choose a spot · 24 min to build · 3 min to tidy. It's fine to stop early.

Before you start

What you’ll need

  • A bucket and spade
  • Damp sand
  • Shells, seaweed, feathers and pebbles to decorate

Let's begin

Five simple steps

That's the whole activity. Tick each step off as you go, and stop whenever you like.

  1. Fill the bucket with damp sand and pat it down.

  2. Flip it over, tap the top and lift. A tower!

  3. Make more towers and join them into a kingdom.

  4. Try drip castles: drizzle very wet sand to make spiky towers.

  5. Decorate with shells, seaweed flags and pebble doors.

All done!

That's every step. However it went, you made a little moment together.
