A tiny plan for your day

Estimated time: 2 min to find it · 6 min to visit · 2 min to take a photo. It's fine to stop early.

Before you start

What you’ll need

  • A tree near home, in the garden or on a regular walk
  • A phone camera

Let's begin

Five simple steps

That's the whole activity. Tick each step off as you go, and stop whenever you like.

  1. Little one leads

Let your child choose "our" tree and give it a name.

  2. Take a photo of your child standing next to it.

  3. Look closely. Leaves or bare branches? Blossom or fruit?

  4. Visit again each season and take the same photo.

  5. Look at the photos side by side. What changed? What stayed the same?

All done!

That's every step. However it went, you made a little moment together.
