A tiny plan for your day

Estimated time: 5 min to set up · 9 min to play · 1 min to tidy. It's fine to stop early.

Before you start

What you’ll need

  • Four types of nature treasure, a few of each: leaves, stones, pine cones, sticks
  • A patch of grass

Let's begin

Five simple steps

That's the whole activity. Tick each step off as you go, and stop whenever you like.

  1. Lay the treasures in rows on the grass, a stride apart.

  2. Grown-up job

An adult calls out: "Right hand on a leaf!"

  3. Little one leads

Your child stretches to put their hand on one.

  4. Keep calling: "Left foot on a pine cone!"

  5. Wobble, giggle, fall over. Start again!

All done!

That's every step. However it went, you made a little moment together.
