What you’ll need

  • A bowl of mud, a little runny
  • 2 to 3 teaspoons of bicarbonate of soda
  • A small cup of vinegar
  • A spoon, and an old tray

  1. Little one leads

    Your child stirs the bicarbonate of soda into the mud.

  2. Grown-up job

    An adult pours a little vinegar into a small cup.

  3. Little one leads

    Your child spoons the vinegar onto the mud and watches it fizz.

  4. Add petals or leaves and give your potion a magical name.
